About The Event
Sunday, August 6th is Fan Day at First Baptist Church. We are excited to have the Pierce County Football team as our guests that day and Lance Funderburk will be our guest speaker.
Lance Funderburk is a former Pierce County High School and Valdosta State University Football Player. Lance set numerous NCAA and School records. He earned all-American and all-conference honors as a junior and senior. A two-year starter, Funderburk passed for over 8,100 yards and 58 touchdowns and was runner-up for the Harlon Hill trophy in 1996. Lance has played in the NFL, CFL, and AFL. He is currently a Medical Device Sales Executive and the Area Vice President for the Boston Scientific Corporation.
